A new patient visit typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes consisting of a detailed review of your medical history, lifestyle, and symptoms. The visits will include traditional chinese tongue and pulse reading followed by a personalized treatment plan and acupuncture treatment. You may feel a slight prick; many people feel no discomfort.
An established client acupuncture treatment involves a short follow up interview followed by insertion of thin sterile needles according to your personalized treatment plan in a calm relaxing environment. 60 minutes
A technique using glass cups and heat to create vacuum suction to enhance circulation, release deep muscle tension to relieve pain, and reduce inflammation. 15 minutes
Stimulation of a small area of the body such as the neck or trapezius muscle with a bian stone tool to increase circulation, relax tight muscles, reduce inflammation, and boost the immune system. 10 minutes
This treatment uses the arms and legs to balance the whole body to improve circulation and blood flow. It boosts the immune system, regulates digestion and calms the nervous system.
The ear is a micro map of the whole body, used for relaxation, pain relief, and addiction recovery by helping with withdrawal symptoms, cravings and anxiety. 10 minutes
Adhesive stickers with a crystal, seed, or metal ball to stimulate acupressure points in the ear for 1 to 2 weeks.
Ear tacs are tiny surgical grade stainless steel needles that last for 1 to 2 weeks. Used for pain relief, weight loss, stress & anxiety relief, and insomnia. 15 minutes

Acupuncture works by stimulating specific points on the body with very thin needles to support circulation, calm the nervous system, and encourage the body’s natural healing response.

Most people don’t feel anything when the needles are inserted. If you feel anything it is comparable to plucking a hair, the sensation only lasts for a few seconds.

I offer cupping, gua sha, and auricular acupressure with ear seeds.

A new client appointment is scheduled for 90 mins and a established client appointment is scheduled for 60 minutes.

After your customized treatment is inserted you will relax for 20 minutes.

The number of sessions needed depends on length of time you have had the condition for which you are seeking treatment. For chronic conditions, I recommend 1 to 2 treatments per week for 6 weeks. After the 6 weeks if symtoms have improved you can get treatments every other week, then maintenance treatments once a month for certain chronic conditions.

Wear loose fitting comfortable clothes, eat a small meal or light snack.

After acupuncture drink plenty of fluids, don’t plan any strenous activities, plan to rest for the rest of the day, and eat a meal.

Some insurance companies pay for acupuncture, however I don’t accept insurance, I will provide you with a superbill upon request.

Hello, I’m Dr. Kenelle, an Oklahoma native and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, with a clinical focus on women’s health and chronic illness.
I completed two international study abroad experiences as part of my training, including an educational program at China Medical University in Taiwan, where I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine in a clinical hospital setting. I participated in a humanitarian acupuncture service trip to Rishikesh, India, offering care to diverse and underserved populations.
